  • This welcoming, diverse art group is for artists new and not so new to get together and work on their own thing whatever the medium.
  • Help is always available when requested, fellow artists are always ready to encourage and support one another.
  • $15 per week to cover venue hire and costs,

  • MIXED MEDIA for artists new to mixed media or with little experience.
    6-Week course commencing 17th February
    Wednesdays 12:30 PM - 2:30 PM

    Be enchanted with the expressive, loose, artworks you will produce when working with mixed media.

    Participants will be working in colourful wet and dry media, as well as black and white mediums. They will be experimenting with application techniques, material combinations and layering.

    For the convenience of participants, materials will be discussed and provided for the first lesson after which they bring their own.$200 -

  • DEVELOP YOUR DRAWING SKILLS - Part One

    EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST INVITED FOR
    PROPOSED NEW 6 - WEEK COURSE
    Open to all ages and abilities.

    Commencing Thursday 4th March 10:00am –12:00pm Cost $220

    An ideal course for beginners and those who need help developing skills and confidence.Graphite and charcoal will be the mediums used in this first of a 2-part drawing course.

    Materials are discussed, and techniques demonstrated. Elements of design will be incorporated into the lesson structure which explores the use of observation, measuring for accuracy, negative space, mark making, tonal value, form, creating depth and the use of perspective and composition.

    Useful tips, notes and recommended homework help to round off your drawing course experience.
